Job description
Are you a student who wants to learn more about logistics through a part-time job? Are you an enthusiastic go-getter with a 'getting things done' mentality? Is your ambition and drive to make a difference at least as great as ours? Then you are the colleague Shypple is looking for! Read on quickly or apply directly!
About Shypple
Shypple makes shipping simple. We are revolutionizing the conservative logistics sector by making logistics more digital and straightforward. Our platform ensures that our customers and all parties involved in a transport have real-time visibility into every aspect of the supply chain. Through our platform, logistics teams can directly search, compare, book, and track shipments for air, rail, and sea freight. As a 'digital forwarder,' we offer companies a leap in efficiency that is unprecedented in the sector. Shypple minimizes traditional margins of error and saves both direct and indirect costs throughout the entire process.
What you will do
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Working Student to join our Product team. In this role, you will be the voice of our platform, responsible for creating clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation. Your primary mission is to transform scattered information—from internal release messages, Slack conversations, and older documents—into a consistent and professional set of platform documentation that empowers both our internal teams and external users. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in technical writing, content strategy, and the fast-paced world of a technology scale-up.
Synthesize & Document: Act as a knowledge detective, gathering information from internal release notes, Slack conversations, and existing documentation. You will transform this raw material into a unified and consistent library of user guides, how-to articles, and FAQs.
Create & Maintain Content: Write, edit, and update documentation for both internal and external audiences, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and a consistent tone of voice.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Customer Success specialists to gather information, understand new features, and validate the accuracy of all documentation.
Manage the Knowledge Base: Structure and maintain our internal and external knowledge bases (e.g., in Confluence or a similar tool), ensuring content is organized, up-to-date, and easily discoverable.
Support Product Releases: Assist in creating release notes and other communication materials to inform users about new functionalities and improvements.
Gather Feedback: Actively seek feedback from customers and internal stakeholders to identify gaps and areas for improvement in the documentation.
