To further our progressive growth we are looking for a highly driven Talent Acquisition Business Partner

Purpose & Goals

The goal of the Talent Acquisition Business Partner is to attract qualified and engaged talents aligned with the company’s strategy to facilitate and support extensive and sustainable growth. You will be responsible for growing our employer brand and ensuring a one-of-a-kind, scalable recruitment process to attract the right talent. You will make sure we are top of mind with all professionals when it comes to digital freight forwarding. The focus will primarily be on Tech, Sales, Marketing and Operations positions, and less frequently procurement, finance, legal and HR.

Objectives and Key Results 

The Talent Acquisition Business Partner is accountable for;

  • Attract and hire top talent aligned with hiring planning,
  • Build scalable hiring practices (NL, EU and later on Global),
  • Ensure an attractive Employer Brand en Employer branding,
  • Ensure an outstanding candidate experience.


  • Setting up a strategic plan to achieve hiring targets in line with our rapid growth;
  • Setting up a strategic plan on how to continuously improve the recruitment processes for our different propositions;
  • Ensure a strong and innovative employer brand and setting up on- and offline strategies to support this;
  • Drive Shypple’s recruitment process and candidate workflow, including leading kickoff meetings, reviewing resumes, interviewing, closing, and managing the candidate experience from end to end;
  • Oversee, measure and improve all stages of the candidate experience; 
  • Take the lead to establish Shypple’s recruiting processes across the Netherlands and EU including providing market insights around compensation and benefits, establishing scalable processes, and communicating key learnings;
  • Build internal and external networks and candidate funnels through industry contacts, professional memberships, Meetups, and more to engage passive talent and position Shypple as a preferred employer;
  • Work cross-functionally with all departments in the organization as a mentor, coach, and resource for creative ways to approach new hiring challenges;
  • Conduct weekly check-ins with hiring managers and act as a strategic talent business partner to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans, encouraging changes to the process as needed;
  • Continuously contribute to overall process improvements;
  • Work cross-functionally with HR to provide insight and visibility into Shypple’s hiring process through the use of reporting, metrics, and analysis.


  • Master’s Degree (preferred)/ Bachelor's degree (required);
  • Minimum of 5 years of full life cycle recruitment experience in a high-growth or high-volume industry, with prior experience hiring for mid- and senior-level roles required, prior experience hiring internationally preferred;
  • Demonstrate a proven track record in on-target hiring within a complex, fast-paced and fast-growing business environment;
  • Robust experience with performance and behavior-based interviewing;
  • Deep knowledge of applicant tracking systems and reporting, recruitment technology, as well as proactive sourcing and assessment tools;
  • Fluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written).
