To further our progressive growth we are looking for a true sales consultant.

Your role

  • You will be responsible for creating new business at medium-sized businesses. 
  • You will be a part of the BeNeLux Sales team, who are in close cooperation with the Operations and Customer Success team.
  • You will advise and convince customers that the "Shypple way" is the best solution to provide their company with an efficient and smart way of Shipping and Supply Chain Management.
  • You are one of Shypple's high-level business partners whom together with potential customers can understand the entire supply chain and convince them of our added value in an advisory manner.
  • You generate, receive and follow up leads, you arrange (demo) meetings and visit companies to introduce the unique high-quality service Shypple provides.
  • You know how to close a deal and together with the Customer Success team, you will ensure excellent customer onboarding. 
  • Together with the Customer Succes team you will design, plan and execute on a strategy to maximize the customer's potential.


The ideal candidate

  • You have a successful sales track record within the shipping / freight forwarding industry.
  • You live in or next to Utrecht - Gelderland (we expect you to be at the office in Rotterdam once or twice a week).
  • You have a warm and relevant network in the Utrecht - Gelderland region.
  • You are tech-savvy and an advocate of smart digitization.
  • You master the Dutch and English language both spoken and written.
  • You are professional, authentic, result-driven and you take ownership of everything you do. 
  • You are self-motivated, you set the right priorities and you perform at a high and constant level with minimal (management) control. 
  • You feel at home in a growing and dynamic, international scale-up environment. 
  • You like the challenge to transform one of the largest and most conservative industries on a global scale.
