Your Shypple Journey
As an operations coordinator you will work at the heart of Shypple’s operational activities. 

You will accept, process and finalise our logistical orders to reach the goal of establishing Shypple as a thought leader within the freight forwarding industry. Together with your team, you will provide our customer base with the smoothest experience possible in freight forwarding by giving them the best service ever and your flexibility in ways to “get things done”. You are a problem- solver, but also the protector of processes and structures. You identify the returning errors, you escalate them and you solve them - together with the Shypple team. Be prepared for a never ending improvement cycle which is unique to this industry.

Requirements

What you need to build your Shypmarine:

To make this happen, you would have to be the main driver in the following:

  • Operation: you will be responsible for processing LCL, FCL and air/road shipment from booking to invoicing.

  • Customer service: Creating and maintaining an excellent relationship with our customer base through phone calls and our Shypple Chat.

  • Financial administration: you will be processing incoming invoices and handling disputes.

  • Documentation: you will be processing and archiving all shipment related document.


Why you are the ideal Shyppler

You have a passion for logistics and want to make global trade virtually frictionless. You have preferably 1-2 years of experience in a Ocean/Air Forwarding or shipping company, including hands on basic finances such as VAT rules and credit terms. You have excellent customer service skills and know how to create a good relationship with suppliers and customers. You can manage setting up different shipment processes, fine-tuning and executing them. You know how to work in a fast growing and collaborative startup environment where your strong English and Dutch verbal and written communication skills will be needed.
