About Shypple

Shypple is a modern and easy-to-use web application that offers real-time visibility, the opportunity for companies to search, compare, book and track shipments for air, rail, and sea freight directly. We not only give companies the key to a more efficient and optimized way of working but a whole new perspective of the supply chain. We believe the solution behind disrupting a traditional industry is a perfect combination of a smart developed system and a high-quality customer experience.

Your role as Information Analyst

As an IT analyst, you’re a part of the heart of the development team of Shypple. In collaboration with the Product Owner, you will ensure that all the functional requirements of our great new features are mapped and ready for development to work on. Together with development, you’ll convert these features into stories. Once development has finished their work, it’s up to you to verify all requirements are met, guide the release and launch the product working closely with marketing. By documenting our applications you will also make sure that it’s crystal clear to your colleagues how our applications work so they know how to support our customers at all times. And if your colleagues don’t know how things work or they may have found a bug, you’re the go to person to explain or investigate the issue. When there are more technical projects not related to development, you’ll be working on those too.

Regular activities

  • Developing feature requirements: collect, analyze and map feature requirements.
  • Testing stories: test to make improvements and new features.
  • Handling bugs: be the go-to-point for bugs and other system related issues and questions.
  • Launching new features and improvements together with the product owner and/or developers to demonstrate the launched features.
  • Making sure the functional designs are always up to date by adding new smaller features and/or improvements to the functional designs.
  • Managing or contributing to smaller IT related projects that have a large analytical component or are connected to the Shypple application.

Requirements

We ask

  • Strong experience in documenting technical and business processes using tools such as LucidChart, draw.io, RealTimeBoard, flowcharts, UML Diagrams, BPM.
  • Experience and knowledge in working with Scrum and/or other Agile methodologies.
  • Communication skills in English (verbal and written).
  • Experience in project management is a pre.

You get

  • A great working environment with a team of highflyers who work together for extraordinary success.
  • A competitive salary.
  • Good secondary benefits (e.g. 25 vacation days, the possibility to work remote abroad one week a year, a high-end laptop, pension contribution, employee option plan).
  • The opportunity to be a part of a great adventure where you can grow, develop, and get the best out of yourself, including a yearly budget for personal development.
  • An office in the heart of Rotterdam with a sunny roof terrace.
