Shypple is revolutionizing the conservative logistics sector by making shipping simple. We offer companies an easy-to-use, in-house developed web application that offers real-time visibility in every aspect of the supply chain. From our web app, logistics teams can search, compare, book and track shipments for air, rail and sea freight directly. As a "digital forwarder" we offer companies a leap in efficiency that is unprecedented within the sector. Shypple minimizes traditional error margins and saves direct and indirect costs throughout the entire process.


What you’ll be doing

  • Leading the Benelux Sales team.
  • Setting the Sales vision for the company. 
  • Collaborate with the Management Team to develop and implement plans to realize rapid and sustainable growth on a global scale.
  • Realize a significant growth of the Sales department while working with the team to create new business at small and medium-sized businesses. 
  • Develop and manage (annual) Sales goals and objectives to assure Shypple's performance remains on par. 
  • You are one of Shypple's high-level business partners who together with potential customers can understand the entire supply chain and convince them of our added value in an advisory manner.

Requirements

What you'll bring

  • Experience and a proven track record in freight forwarding sales. 
  • Good on both the process side and the performance side of sales management.
  • Charismatic leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to build and motivate an (international) team and to work within a complex, fast-paced scale-up business environment.
  • Positive mindset and open to learn a lot and do things differently.
  • You are tech-savvy and an advocate of smart digitization.
  • A master’s degree / bachelor's degree.
  • You like the challenge to transform one of the largest and most conservative industries on a global scale.
