Your role as Business Controller
In this role as Business Controller, you make sure t
hat Shypple further strengthens its solid financial budgeting and reporting. You will be part of a team with high standards, and where the sound financial decisions are based on strong financial analyses and predictions.  You will also gain insight into the financial operations of a fast-growing organization. 

Regular activities

  • Creating financial models, forecast and budgets (e.g. annual budgets, department budgets, working capital, cash flow management, and review the actuals vs. budget and forecast.
  • Managing monthly, quarterly, and end-of-year reports and analysing deviations.
  • Performing financial analyses and setting up the appropriate dashboards.
  • Ensure financial accuracy and completeness of shipments, reports, statements and general (financial) data.
  • Treasury management and risk evaluation.
  • Contributing to improved management of billing, accounts receivables, accounts payables, and Revenue Recognition through identifying accounting and financial issues and suggesting timely solutions.
  • Setting up and maintaining the system of internal controls


We ask

  • A Bsc. in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other relevant field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Communication skills in English (required) and Dutch (preferred).
  • Experience with Excel, preferably SQL.
  • A hands-on attitude and a business-oriented mindset.
